Curated Shopping and Design: a Trip to Marrakech
Marrakech is a multi sensational experience. Get ready for your senses to be slapped: the sights and sounds will dazzle, frazzle, and enchant.
This trip has been carefully curated by an interior designer, with the aim of showing you both the authentic, historic Marrakech, as well as the contemporary, highly creative layers of the red city.
You will be traveling off the beaten track and visiting neighbourhoods packed with creatives, art galleries, boutique bars and restaurants and curated shops that are typically not visited by tourists.
Our base will be a stunning designer riad in the medina of Marrakech.

Andrea Fórizs, founder of Breathspiration and creative director. She has been designing and running retreats since 2013. She is a true lover of Morocco, a foodie, a storyteller and a design enthusiast. Her focus is on showing the authentic side of Marrakech, and discovering the wonders of it.

ACCOMODATION
We have carefully selected Ryad Dyor, and stylish guesthouse in a residential neighbourhood. The riad has individually designed rooms, that will be assigned based on order of booking. Some rooms are suitable for double / twin use, while others are single use only. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower and/or bathtub and a stunning design. The comfort of the house and the staff will make you feel at home. There is an in house hammam too, where treatments and massages can be booked.

DAY 2
- Home made breakfast in the riad
- Marrakech Medina guided sightseeing tour with artisans and monuments
- Lunch break at a beautiful rooftop restaurant
- Medina shopping: carpets, jewellery, lamps and textiles
- Walk back to riad and rest
- Dinner in Le Jardin restaurant in the Medina in a beautifully designed, lush courtyard
DAY 3
- Home made breakfast in the riad
- Morning visit to Jardin Majorelle and the YSL Museum
Visiting designer shops and art galleries in the Gueliz neighbourhood of Marrakech
Lunch in the historic Grand Cafe de la Poste
- More shopping: caftans by Norya Ayron, perfumes by Héritage Bèrber, designer items in the stylish boutiques of the area

DAY 4

- Chill out day trip to Agafay desert to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech

- Drive to Sidi Ghanem, creative neighbourhood, the SOHO of Marrakech

- Last shopping opportunities (program will be adjusted to the group’s needs)

Fly to Marrakech International Airport (RAK). Airport transfers will be organised for you. If you would like to arrive individually, please get in touch for directions.
PRICING AND ROOMS
There are four unique rooms available for our guests.
Prices below are per person, and include accommodation, breakfasts, lunches and dinners (as seen in program), and all the activities described above. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
Double room (twin bedroom with bathroom) – 3 rooms available

Single room (king bedroom with bathroom) – 2 rooms available
€ 3.850 per person

CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to participate, a 25% deposit is required to secure your spot. The outstanding payment is due 45 days before the event. In case of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. We recommend to have a travel insurance.
If we do not reach the minimum number of participants, the retreat will be cancelled. In this case, your deposit will be fully refunded. The itinerary is a guide: we reserve the right to make changes in case of bad weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We sometimes need to alter the order of outings or replace them, with something equally exciting.
